Rhythm & The Reef is returning to the idyllic Meadowlands Amphitheatre, Botanic Gardens in Mackay on Saturday, the 5th of October, with the festival promising to deliver a bigger and better experience that will gift punters memories that will last a lifetime with a roster of artist and activities the likes of this festival has never seen before.

The lineup for this fan-favourite festival includes giants of the Australian music industry including Bliss N Eso, Skeggs, Thelma Plum and Sneaky Sound System, who will be joined by local, emerging artists including Giant Palms, Jonte, Pacey, The Wild Sky, Same Pains, Dosco, Jaymouth, and more

Events like Rhythm & The Reef deliver city-like experiences to those living in the regional Mackay community giving locals the chance to enjoy the cultural enrichment supplied by festivals to their country counterparts. In a new initiative, Rhythm & The Reef will deliver a homeless outreach program as part of its partnership with Aussie Mackay and Chances House to help provide food to homeless people of the region. The program will deliver fundraising activations during the festival’s operation to raise money to assist those less fortunate in the community as well as donate any leftover food and merchandise to those in need.

Rhythm & The Reef is a fortunate recipient of the 2024 Regional Arts Development Fund and will utilise the funding to create more sustainable artwork installations for the festival and will feature works this year from Louis Gervais, Muddy Grimes, David Day, and James Quiggin.
